Jess Dutille

Jessica (Jess) Dutille (pronouns: she/her) co-founded FHL in 2006 along with Laura Brusseau. She serves as the Director of Community Impact at Plymouth State University (PSU), where she works to engage and inspire students through service learning and community engagement. She is also a Teaching Lecturer in the Department of Elementary Education and Youth Development at PSU, leading the Project Mentor Program and teaching the Mentoring and Empowering Youth course. Jess earned three degrees from PSU and conducted her doctoral research on the significance of love and love-based practices in educational environments. She was the Executive Director of the Pemi Youth Center for twelve years, where she continues to serve as the organization’s Board President. As an educator and parent, she is passionate about empowering youth and young adults to grow as active citizens in cultivating a more compassionate, equitable, and loving world.
