F.H.L is proud to announce to the community that we have awarded not only one scholarship, but TWO this Spring!  The Foundation was amazed this year not only with the talented, strong and determined young people that applied, but more so with the amount of applications we actually received.  Our P.O. Box was consistently full leading up to the last day they could be sent in, with a grand total of 125 applications! As exciting as this was, we also knew that this was going to bring on some tough and important decision making.  

We narrowed down the group of 125 to 5 and held a group interview for those Top 5 applicants.  The students in this group were amazing.  They possessed such strong characteristics and their personalities came through as they each answered the questions that were asked of them.  This year two students stood out to us and it was decided that we would recognize them both for their hard work, confidence and dedication to the community.  

The Faith, Hope and Love Foundation sends warm weather wishes to all of our supporters and fans!  We want to let you all know that we will not be accepting grant applications until August 1st.  Along with all the school kids, FHL takes a little summer break as well! Since our Board of Directors is made up of volunteers, this is our time to relax & recharge and visit with family & friends. Our next monthly meeting will take place on August 13, 2009 and on that date our Board will be back in action helping those in need!!
